Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
